Aspiring Journalist

Lauren Clausing is an undergraduate student studying Journalism, Advertisement and Media Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Lauren recently became the Multimedia Editor for the UWM Post and has also been a reporter for Media Milwaukee. She is passionate about multimedia types of journalism such as social media or video & audio production. She values storytelling and as well as highlighting diverse perspectives in the media.

Lauren is passionate about social justice. She serves as the President of the UW-Milwaukee student organization ‘Panthers Against Sexual Assault’ as well as the Program Manager for the UWM Women’s Resource Center. She also served as the Student Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Director this past term. She hopes to continue her activism after she graduates and through her journalism.
